In view of the proposed shifting of National Cadet Corps (NCC) 2nd J&K Company headquarter from Bhaderwah to Batote , a high level deputation of residents of Bhaderwah led by Shri Sanatam Dharam Sabha president Ved Kotwal , Masth Nath Yogi state president Janta Dal Secular , Jammu and Kashmir National Panters Party state senior vice president Ch Mohd Iqbal , Bhaderwah Development Forum president Hafeez Khateeb, Senior Citizens Council leaders Master Shaban and others on Wednesday called on Commanding Officer NCC here and demanded that order of shifting the headquarter should be withdrawn . Deputation informed the NCC senior officer that in year 1954 Govt Degree College was established at Bhaderwah at that time keeping in view the merit of the area central government in collaboration with state government opened National Cadet Corps (NCC) headquarter in Bhaderwah which serve the all educational institutions of the erstwhile Doda district . They alleged that now it is very unfortunate that NCC authorities issued orders of shifting of National Cadet Corps (NCC) headquarter from Bhaderwah to Batote which is unacceptable to the people and alleged that it is the history of Bhaderwah after the Independence of the country that Bhaderwah always remained looser due to criminal silence of some people who remained at the helm of the affairs and this was also a reason that in past Teachers training school was shifted from Bhaderwah , Assistant Fisheries Deputy Director office was shifted , Xen PDD office was shifted , Cultural Academy office was shifted , JTO BSNL office was shifted and many more important departments were also shifted and now NCC 2nd company headquarter is being relocated to Batote and NCC authorities had also seek place and infrastructure from administration in Batote . They also said that in the past Bhaderwah people had bitter experience that whenever govt took any anti Bhaderwah decision then they also made hundreds of excuses for that and now it is high time for NCC higher authorities to revoke the order of relocation of headquarter as soon as possible keeping in view the merit of the area and its demographic and geographic location and said Bhaderwah is the central location of erstwhile Doda district as its boundaries touches with HP , Kathua ,Jammu ,Udhampur and other parts of Chenab area . CO NCC listen the deputation patiently and assured that he will convey the desire of the people of Bhaderwah to higher ups for necessary action .
